TANGIER’S VIEW
Renovating a villa from the 80s in Tangier, Morocco, was an exciting challenge for the design team. The villa had an incredible view of the sea, but there were very few windows, which made it quite dark. To make it brighter, the team worked on the façade and the materials, creating a design that would take full advantage of the villa’s stunning surroundings.
PROJECT CONCEPT
To make the space more open and in line with the client’s wishes for a modern design, the team removed some walls, which created a more fluid and open layout. At the same time, they kept some features that made the villa unique, which gave it character and charm. The end result is a beautiful blend of the villa’s original character and a modern design.
One of the most exciting aspects of this project was the way the team worked with the materials. They used a variety of textures and colors to create a warm, inviting, and modern space that perfectly reflects the villa’s surroundings. The team also paid close attention to lighting, which played a crucial role in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
